Coeur d’Alene, Idaho’s Nichole Thiel
A graduate of the University of Idaho, Nichole Thiel holds a bachelor of science in elementary education, a bachelor of science in secondary career technology education (CTE), and a master of arts in educational administration with an emphasis in CTE. Her other academic accomplishments include winning three Vanhemert Academy Awards for successful project leadership in Sun Valley, Idaho. Nichole Thiel also studied as a Fulbright-Hays scholar in India and attended multiple CTE industry events in association with the Idaho Leadership Institute.
Over the course of her career, Nichole Thiel has provided classroom instruction to both high school and college students. She also served as vice principal and athletic director of an Idaho charter school – a position that placed her in charge of daily school operations as well as ongoing budgetary planning and professional development. In the wake of her mother’s diagnosis of Lewy body dementia, Ms. Thiel obtained official dementia care certification and now serves as her primary caregiver.
